Lard from 100% Iberian breed pigs, which is the same as is used for Pata Negra Spanish ham (Jamόn Ibrico de Bellota 100%). These pigs are bred in the wild in oak and cork forests located in the Spanish region of Extremadura. Living solely on acorns and grass, they reach an average weight of 150 kg. A pinkish white colour, the lard offers a pleasantly mild flavour. A prestigious raw material, for a premium fat. A unique taste experience, the fat brings aroma and flavour, ensuring a mild and tender finish.
