Expression of the bond that has always united us to our birthplace, the Museum is located in the historic town of Villani Salumi, in Castelnuovo Rangone. It is a space for relationships, training and dissemination of the art of cold cuts in Italy and around the world.
A journey through the history of cold cuts while also exploring the everyday life of those who, day by day, using their skills, carry forward traditions that have been handed down, from one generation to the next, for centuries.
Products that no one would think suitable for a place of culture are instead recognised here as "cultural assets", productions created "to a professional standard", expressions of a genius loci formed through the sensitivity and experience of skilled hands that no machine can ever replace.
