Mortadella mousse with chopped pistachios

Why not prepare a delicious aperitif or a gourmet appetiser to start a special dinner? Here is a quick finger food idea based on Mortadella Bologna and pistachio. Just a few ingredients and above all a few minutes are all that are needed to make it.

Take three slices of Bologna Villani Mortadella PGI. Prepare a mousse by blending the mortadella with a tablespoon of fresh cream and adding 50 g of fresh ricotta and a little grated Parmigiano Reggiano. Cut out some wholemeal bread discs using a pastry cutter. Prepare a finger holder. Take a slice of bread and with circular movements of the piping bag create a rose of cream. Garnish to taste with chopped pistachios.
